The HBC-501-B is a more advanced HardBat Classic racket with pips-out rubber without sponge. The pips on the HBC-501-B racket are a little longer and softer than the HBC-1 rackets. Available in flared handle and straight handle.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Hardbat Classic Edition and NOT a normal hardbat!
The HBC 501b was a racket designed for the Bud Light Hardbat Classic in Las Vegas, which was only held ONE year and may not be held again. This is not an official hardbat as there is no sponge and it's not USTTA approved. It plays like a "good" cheap paddle but is hardly worth the price in my opinion - better to just use real hardbats or (for fun), use cheaper paddles such as the junkier version of this one.
I wish they'd bring back the Hardbat Classic, but until they do ... avoid this paddle!
