Table tennis is a very individualized sport. Which racket is best for you may differ from that of your opponent. At the tournament level, players select their own blade and rubber combination that best suits their unique style of play. PROBLEM: Due to the type of glue that is used, almost all pre-assembled rackets sold today are not intended to be customized. When the rubber surface becomes 'slick/old', the entire racket is intended to be discarded. When cared for properly, a blade will last years. However, the rubber surface of the racket is very delicate and its characteristics will deteriorate over time and must be replaced. SOLUTION: Butterfly's Super Core Series! This racket was designed using higher quality wood and specially formulated glue that will allow you to customize it to your specifications. When the rubber of this racket becomes 'slick/old', DO NOT throw it away. Dial in your game by replacing the rubber or upgrade to another rubber which offers more speed and/or spin. At the world class level, more players choose Butterfly blades and rubber sheets than any other brand.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Wow, this is the first Butterfly used by me. I Love It
I'm a intermediate level player with an agressive play style.
My previuos paddles are:
1. Stiga triumph (3 star) entry level.
2. Stiga supreme (5 star) very slow, high control, thin handle.
3. DHS 4002 (4 star) very fast and very heavy, oversized head, not much control.
This racket perform very well, is very lightweight, very comfortable with a excellent touch and control.
It's not super fast, but it superb control characteristics permits me hit many forehand and backhand smashes with ease.
The only drawback is the packing quality, its seem cheap and the foil to protect the rubber is attached with bubbles of air.
I recommend this racket to players wanting to move to a professional level carbon paddle, you can think that $150.00 is too much for a pre assembled paddle, but i think that the price of $150.00 is reasonable. Consider it: the Solcion rubbers cost $70.00 each, for a total of $140.00 only in rubbers, in...

Disappointed!
Although the SCS 4000 paddle is lighter than my current one, it is also smaller pad size. My current paddle is a 4 star Double Happiness DHS which I purchased for 20$ in China where I live. I have to say that I don't get as good spin with the SCS 4000 as I do with my DHS. The sticker on the side circumference on the paddle was cheaply put and had many bubbles. It's been a week now, I find myself going back to my old one because I get better results. I will keep practicing with it and see.
