Great Racket
I would say that I'm more advanced than a beginner, but I am definitely not good enough to have a racket that costs this much. I just decided to buy it. I was really surprised with how much my game improved. I was able to put a lot more spin on the ball and had more control of my shots. I would definitely recommend this product to someone who isn't a professional, but wants to improve their game. It's a pretty reasonable price and its a comfortable racket. I haven't had any problems with it and I have had it for over a year and have played with it a good bit.

Great balance of Power & Control
I bought this racket to try and increase power over my current racket, it did just that without sacrificing control.
Joola Smash is a great paddle for intermediate players
Bought this paddle and spent the weekend playing with a couple other intermediate/advanced players. The paddle provides a good combination of power and control. Players who use alot of topspin will like this paddle. I also bought the Killerspin 100-16 Dynamo at the same time. The Joola had a slight advantage in power, but I felt the Killerspin had the edge for control, so your specific style of play will determine which paddle is better for you.
