Awesome racket!
I am a recreational player, have been playing for several months now with a lot of passion. I wanted to upgrade from Carlos Chiu racket. First bought Butterfly custom made racket (carbon based paddle with cermet & shriver rubber, extremely offensive) and realized that was an overkill, since I couldn't handle high sped & spin/low control properties of the paddle. Touch defense was almost always going over the table and I couldn't feel my backhand at all due to the racket being light-weight. So, this one was definitely for very advanced player,[...] Well, I took a gamble and ordered this particular racket from DHS. All I can say is this racket is outstanding! Hurricane rubber on one side is super offensive and G555 rubber on the other side is slightly less so, but with such viscosity that makes incredible spins with little effort. Great Paddle/Racket
My play style is primarily extreme power in the spin, and speed without the power.
I have been using this paddle for about 3 months now. I used to train seriously with a former Ping Pong Champion from China about 16 years ago. I thought I would NEVER get my skills back, nor would I ever get the great customized paddle I had back then. I'd say for a factory setting made paddle, this is as good as it gets without customization. If you're looking for a better paddle, then you should customize it. If you're not so savvy with paddles and just know how to play, this is a great paddle for you. I had a customize paddle 16 years ago, and this comes "CLOSE".
Some people say the power is too much and it's hard to control, but I think that's mostly technique because I don't have a hard time keeping the ball in on the table unless I am doing something stupid.
I recommend this paddle, and I am about to buy one more as a back up.

I am trying to get my skils back with this racket. I highly recommend this racket for players who are offensive but it is also splendid defensive capabilities.
