Brodmann Blades Table Tennis Racket Gift Set
The Brodmann Blades table tennis racket gift set features two paddles that can be worn like gloves on either hand. The unconventional design eliminates the handle and spreads apart the front and back of the paddles, allowing your hand to slip between them. Two hand bands and four table tennis balls are also included.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Interesting concept
My wife gave me the Brodmann Blades as a gift since I am an avid ping-pong enthusiast. I have tried them with some of my friends and here are the results. First of all the concept is intriguing. If you play much ping-pong you know that often there is the "finger shot" where your finger hits the ball rather than the paddle. This problem is virtually eliminated by this new design. I have a large hand and I fit into the "blades" fairly well. The rubber surface is excellent with great grip and speed. On the down side, using these blades takes away about 6 inches of reach. This I find very important since this is where I found the greatest difference in playing. Forehand slams were just as effective, but backhand play was a little more difficult to get used to. However, if both players were using the blades then perhaps the attributes would be on an even playing field. I don't think I will use them for playing serious ping-pong just yet, but with more practice, who knows.

Very intuitive feel. May not be suitable for large hands.
I'm a former tournament table tennis player (from my youth). I played with the Brodman Blades for the first time yesterday. I found the forehand stroke to be extremely intuitive and natural. There was no learning curve for me whatsoever. If anything, my forehand shots were more accurate, and I felt improved confidence. I was hitting winners with confidence from the very first practice shot. The backhand took a little more getting used to, but I was getting the hang of it. The biggest issue to report is the FIT. To achieve good control over the paddle, you must insert your hand all the way so that the crook of your thumb squeezes the oval cut-out between the two blades. (By the way, this thumb cut-out is on only one side, forcing you to play red-side as forehand, and black-side as backhand if you're right-handed). I don't have particularly long fingers, but my middle finger stuck out past the end of the paddle almost a full inch (i.e. most of the top joint of my middle finger...
The blades were a hit!
My son and husband loved the Broadman Blades. Especially how easy it was to put a bit of extra "spin" on the ball!
